Welcome to our About Us section! I am Arlene D. Tangcangco (タンカンコ道地ア-リ-ン), but you can call me “AL.” The idea for Tangcangco-Dochi Learning Hub (Voila Pages) came to life in a way that felt almost like a spark lighting up in the dark. It wasn’t just one thing; it was a series of moments and the desire to share knowledge in a way that might help others.
It all started during the pandemic when I was busy with my research. As I read countless books and journals, I came across the word “Voila.” It was not the first time I had encountered that French word, but something about it just clicked!
It wasn’t just a word but the “Aha!” moment I felt in my bones that day. It was the feeling you get when you stumble on something that resonates so deeply that you know it’s meant to be. I thought to myself, “Hmmm.. This is it. It will be the name of something meaningful!
But there’s more to this story beyond just a name. It has to do with a close friend- someone very dear to me- who, like many of us, finds it difficult to open up about personal struggles. She is often timid about sharing what’s bothering her, even though it’s apparent that she’s going through tough times. She keeps everything inside, thinking she doesn’t want to burden anyone with her problems.
As her friend, I wanted to be there for her and help her, but I also realized she was not alone. Many others feel the same way, too shy or awkward to reach out for support yet desperate to grow and overcome their challenges.
That realization struck me hard and was one of the driving forces behind this site. I created Voila Pages, now Tangcangco-Dochi Learning Hub, to help those hesitant to speak up or feel they don’t know how to express what’s happening. It’s for people who need a safe space to learn, grow, and find support without feeling judged or uncomfortable about asking for help.
So, in 2021, I decided to take a leap of faith. I had no experience building websites or managing an online space, but I had something more substantial- determination. I wanted to create a site where I could be free to share what I was learning and, most importantly, where others could find something that helped them on their journeys.
It was tough! I was like a newly-born kitten who couldn’t see my path and yet trusted God where this way would lead me. But every step, every small lesson along the way, was worth it. I didn’t want my thoughts to sit in notebooks or scraps of paper, gathering dust. I hoped that whoever stumbled upon my writings could find something meaningful. Something that might offer guidance or clarity, just as I once wished when I had no one to warn me about specific struggles.
With God’s help, the Tangcangco-Dochi Learning Hub (Voila Pages) became a space where I put things that I learned along the way and where you can also understand. It is a space where you’re always welcome to explore new perspectives and take that next step at your own pace.
Why was this hub created? What makes it different from the rest? Well, it all started from a place of understanding. We all face challenges, moments of doubt, and times when we feel stuck. With the right tools, inspiration, and guidance, we can overcome those moments and continue growing.
What started as my digital journal, a place to unwind, self-reflect through writing, and track what I’ve learned- has evolved into much more. The lessons I’ve collected (and our team) could inspire and connect others so we can share, support, and achieve our goals together. Whether it’s motivational Bible verses, empowering quotes, personal growth tips, or honest product reviews, there’s something here for everyone.
As a self-learned website creator, I am still learning and open to your constructive feedback. If you have any suggestions, feel free to drop a message at our website email: [email protected]. Voila! Until next time!
Stay awesome,
