About Us: The Story Behind...
Welcome to our About Us section! I am Arlene D. Tangcangco (タンカンコ道地ア-リ-ン) but you can call me “AL”. The idea for Tangcangco-Dochi Learning Hub (Voila Pages) came to life in a way that felt almost like a spark lighting up in the dark. It wasn’t just one thing—it was a series of moments, and the desire to share knowledge in a way that might help others.
The story started during the pandemic when I found myself immersed in research. As I read countless books, one day I came across the word—“Voila”—and something about it just clicked. It wasn’t just a word; it was the moment of discovery, the “Aha!” that I felt in my bones. It was the kind of feeling you get when you stumble upon something that resonates so deeply with you that you know it’s meant to be. I thought to myself, “This is it. This will be the name of something meaningful!
But there’s more to this story, and it goes beyond just a name. It has to do with a close friend of mine—someone very dear to me—who, like many of us, finds it difficult to open up about personal struggles. She is often too shy to share what’s bothering her, even though it’s obvious that she’s going through tough times. She keeps everything inside, thinking she doesn’t want to burden anyone with her problems.
As her friend, I wanted to be there for her, to help her, but I also realized that she is not alone. There are so many others out there who feel the same way—too shy or awkward to reach out for support, yet desperate for a way to grow and overcome their challenges.
That realization struck me hard, and it was one of the driving forces behind this site. I created Voila Pages now Tangcangco-Dochi Learning Hub as a place for those who might be hesitant to speak up or who feel like they don’t know how to express what’s going on. It’s for the people who need a safe space to learn, grow, and find support without feeling judged or uncomfortable about asking for help.
So, in 2021, I decided to take a leap of faith. I had no experience in building websites or managing an online space, but I had something more important—determination. I wanted to create a site where I could be free to share what I was learning, and most importantly, where others could find something that helped them on their journeys.
It was tough—like stepping into the unknown with only a flashlight to guide the way. But every step, every small lesson along the way, was worth it. I didn’t want to keep my thoughts locked away in notebooks or pieces of paper that no one would ever read. I wanted to create something bigger—something that could open doors for others to discover new paths for personal growth. And here we are today, through God’s help with Tangcangco-Dochi Learning Hub (Voila Pages) as a space where you can learn, explore, and take that next step in your life.
